My last post was June of 2009! What? I guess I have proven to not being that great of a blogger! Haha. Oh well. Consider this attempt number two...
Where to begin? Since June of '09, a lot has happened in our lives. We have moved a few times, unfortunately. We lived in Milwaukee at the time of my last post. Since then, we have lived in Rexburg, ID; Dallas, TX; and now Rexburg, ID once again (for the very last time!)
We are both graduating in April of this year. We are so excited to be done with school, but we are also scared at the same time. Now that we are graduating, I guess it's time to really grow up and figure things out. We are working for Pinnacle again this summer. This year we are going to Waco, TX, which is located about 1.5 hours south of Dallas. We are planning on doing that for the next several summers as we make our way through graduate school. Hector is starting applications for law school, and I am going to be applying to Clinical Psychology program or going for a Masters in School Counseling. I have not decided which direction I want to go, so I might end up applying to some of both.
Well, how's that for a nice update on our life? Hopefully I will have some interesting posts to come, and hopefully I remember to do so! Thanks for reading - ciao!

Airfest 2009.
Sometime last week, Hector was looking at YouTube videos of planes, as he always does. Somehow, he found himself on a website advertising the Southern Wisconsin Airfest 2009, which just happened to be the upcoming Sunday. I was apprehensive not only to spend money on tickets to something I clearly do not share the same level of passion, but also to agree to wake up at 5:30AM in order to get up in time to drive the 2 hours and make it there by 9AM - on our only day off out of the entire week. But, somehow he talked me into it..
I have to admit that I had a LOT more fun than I had originally thought I would. The show included the Blue Angels, an elite group of pilots who demonstrate naval aviation in airshows across the country. Also featured were the Army's Golden Knights, a group of military parachute jumpers, the Navy Leapfrogs, Patty Wagstaff, Greg Poe, Michael Wiskus, Susan Dacy, a shockwave jet truck demonstration, and an F-16 Fighting Falcon "Viper" demo.
Our favorite was most definitely the Blue Angels. They were just so awesome. Our second favorite was the F-16 demonstration. Now I know why America is the most powerful nation in the world! The F-16 is a fighter jet that can go TWICE the speed of sound. The shockwave jet truck was also pretty freakin' awesome!

I caved.
Yes, I finally gave in to the pressure to join the crowd and start a blog. They just look so fun! And very cutesy. I'm not going to promise great words of wisdom nor daily posts, but we shall see what comes of it. And I seriously doubt Hector will ever post on here, but who knows?
Well, I suppose some "catch up" needs to be played here. So, Hector and I are now living in Wisconsin working for Pinnacle Security for the summer. I am the Office Manager, and Hector is Personal Assistant to the Area Office Sales Manager. It's a pretty sweet deal that we have going on here. We are really enjoying the change of scenery. Rexburg was growing old! Here are a few pictures that we took of a beautiful rainbow we saw outside our apartment last week:

Also, we have recently had an addition to our family. We found him on Craigslist and Hector had him named before we even called to see if he was still available. We got him when he was barely 4 weeks old. He's the love of our lives. Even Hector's, if you can believe it!!! Everyone, meet "Boots!"
Boots in his favorite spot - Hector's shoulder.
First day at home. He is meowing here, not laughing. :)
We just HAD to. :D
